The mozzarella is perfect for making a delicious vegan pizza, and the pepperjack couldn’t be better for topping burritos and making quesadillas.

Havarti Style Wedge and Jack Style Wedge

I used these at a house party recently, on a platter with olives and crackers. The non-vegans had NO IDEA that the cheese was non-dairy.     Although I have rebound delicious replacements for mayo and ice cream and even burgers, not so for cheese. I do agree that daiya is the best of the bunch and can work as an ingredient in some recipes.

    Rather than try to replace the taste of cheese, I opt for delicious alternatives — avocado in sandwiches or on crackers with wine, nutritional yeast in sauces and soups.

    I still haven’t found an alternative when something gooey and stringy is required. Any suggestions?
